COURSE DESCRIPTION
Internationally acclaimed pianist and conductor Stefano Miceli
accepts a limited number of exceptionally gifted students each year
This program is devoted to the artistic and technical development of talented students.
Dr. Miceli has adjusted his international performance schedule to permit him to work intensively with students in a number of lessons throughout the academic year.
Applicants from around the world are auditioned either in person or by videotape.
The class includes students ranging in age from fourteen to young career instrumentalists as well as traditional-age conservatory-university students.
Eventual exceptions are considered by the professors discretional decisions.
ONE YEAR PROGRAM
Repertoire
- two recital programs of 60 minutes each
- one piano concerto
Masterclasses
One masterclass with some of the world’s esteemed music professionals.
Performances
Student performances and recitals will be offered by the Greenwich Piano Institute during the academic year in
dates and locations to be defined.
Competition
The Greenwich Piano Institute arranges the Greenwich Piano Institute Award, a yearly school competition in a
date to be defined. Awards will consist in scholarships for the next academic year. Certain qualified students
may also earn the opportunity to participate in national and international competitions.
Exam
Students can obtain their Greenwich Piano Institute Diploma Certificate after a final exam session.
During the exam session, in a date and time to be defined, students are required to play a 60' - 75' minute
recital program.
Attendances and class durations
Time schedule is based on professor's and student's availabilities.
